Romanian drill crews destined for the Aegean Sea
Schulte Energy Services today announced the successful contract award by Northern Offshore UK Ltd for the provision of Romanian personnel to support drilling operations on the Energy Exerter jack-up in the Aegean sea.
The Energy Exerter is currently mobilising to offshore Kavala, Greece having concluded a contract in the Perchora Sea, northwest Russia. The jack-up rig which is anticipated to arrive in the Aegean Sea in mid February will commence drilling three wells on behalf of Aegean Energy S.A., with expected contract duration of 135 days.
Neil Campbell, Schulte Energy Services Business Development Director commenting on the contract award, said ‘we are delighted to be supporting Northern Offshore on this drilling campaign and provides us with an opportunity to further demonstrate our ability to provide competency assured roustabouts, mechanics and radio operators with a high proficiency in English language from our Romanian resourcing centre’.
